Jacky’s recently provided three Makerbot Replicator 5th Gen and one Replicator + at the inauguration of the special FabLab UAE, a special lab set up to foster an innovative UAE generation. The 3D printers are set up in science & fabrication lab (FAB lab) where they will be used to demonstrate “design to fabrication” for teachers from various schools so that they can in turn share with their students.
FabLab UAE is part of Fab Lab International Foundation, an American non-profit organization affiliated to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It aims to foster innovation by providing an integrated infrastructure that offer the use of the most recent technologies, tools and programs in the world of digital fabrication.
