Jacky’s Business Solutions, the distributor for SoftBank Robotics Europe in the Middle East, joined SoftBank Robotics once again this year to showcase the wider applications of its humanoid robot, Pepper and Nao, in customer and visitor management across several industry sectors.
One of the key highlights during Gitex this year, was Jacky’s new Robot Content Management Systems (RCMS) that can be leveraged to update Pepper. The new RCMS will allow users and resellers to manage or update content on Pepper the robot as they would a website. As a cloud-based solution, RCMS reduces the need for complex programming and setup time needed for deploying a fleet of robots or making changes to content.
During the week-long show, the team at Jacky’s met several of its existing customers as well as potential software and chatbot developers to explore new sector applications for Pepper. The company also signed a special MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Smart World to further its applications and presence in UAE government institutions in its endeavor to adopt robotics in its customer service.
