Under the patronage of His Highness, the Emir of Kuwait, the ‘KFAS Robotics and AI Festival’ enjoyed overwhelming support from schools and the general public at the recent event held -14 February 2020.
Jacky’s Business Solutions joined its solution partner in KSA & Kuwait, INTDV at the event showcasing Softbank’s humanoid robot, Pepper. Dr. Saud AL Harbi, the minister of education, visiting the INTDV space in KFAS to see how the team develops applications for the future of education using robotics.
The KFAS festival, organized by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science, was attended by more than 7,000 people where some of the world’s most advanced robots interacted with actors from Kuwait through a highly engaging theatre show and interactive exhibition. Visitors engaged directly with modern, high-tech robots and educational hands-on robotics and AI workshops.
The festival educated audiences about the science of robotics and AI in a fun and engaging way. The event focused on promoting key values essential for advancement of science and technology and pursuit of careers in STEM in the future including curiosity, responsibility, creativity, sustainability for the planet and compassion for all.
KFAS was designed to spark interest and inspire active engagement to help youth develop the skills and talents and appreciate the key values necessary for the 21st century and the future job market in Kuwait.
