National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC), part of the Supreme Council for National Security hosted a two- day Forum in Abu Dhabi entitled, “Exploring the future of search and rescue in the era of artificial intelligence”. The forum was used to launch a smartphone application on mobile phones as part of the UAE’s efforts to provide faster emergency responses.
Through this app, people can request help to anywhere in the country, wherever they are whether it is the sea, land, desert or mountains or rugged areas, request assistance and relief emergency and report accidents.
